What needs you

Mora has four ways of telling you something needs attention. Each is used for a different kind of thing.

The banner: an unwrapped 1:1

A dark bar across the top of the app reads Not wrapped up, with the person’s name and the date, and a Wrap up button. If more than one is outstanding, it names the oldest and counts the rest.

You can’t dismiss this banner, because dismissing it would mean losing the notes. It disappears when you finish the wrap-up, which you can start from the bar itself.

Markers on a person

Whether someone needs something from you is shown wherever that person appears.

In the navigation, a pinned report shows a dot.

On the Team page, their card tells you what it is:

Their own page has the thing itself: the unwrapped meeting, the goals, or the briefing.

These are worked out fresh each time a page loads. Nothing is stored and nothing is marked as read, so a marker disappears as soon as you’ve dealt with the cause.

Cards at the foot of the navigation

A small stack of cards at the bottom of the navigation: your next 1:1, a prompt to connect your calendar, or a setup step. One shows at a time. Dismiss it and the next appears. When there are none left, the section disappears.

Nothing here is urgent, and a dismissed card doesn’t come back.

The bell

The bell above the panel, and the Notifications page behind it, carry things that have happened:

That’s the complete list.

Goals that are overdue or stalled are not notifications. They appear as a marker on the person instead, shown as N off track on their card. Fixing the goal clears the marker, and there’s nothing to read or dismiss.

You can turn off the email versions of optional notifications in Settings → Email preferences. Billing emails and check-in links are always sent.

If nothing is showing

That’s the normal state. No banner means everything is wrapped up, no markers mean nobody is waiting on you, and an empty bell means nothing has happened since you last looked.
