Scheduling a 1:1
Every meeting in Mora belongs to a specific direct report. Scheduling a meeting is the first step toward a productive 1:1 — once it’s on the calendar, Mora can generate an AI agenda, and you can start planning topics and goals to cover.
How to schedule a meeting
There are two ways to create a new 1:1:
From the Meetings page: Click New meeting and select the direct report from the dropdown. Set the date, time, and duration, then save.
From a direct report’s profile: Open their profile from My Team, then click Schedule meeting. The direct report is pre-selected.
Calendar sync
If you’ve connected Google Calendar, Mora creates a calendar event automatically when you save a meeting. The event includes a Google Meet link so you and your direct report can join the video call directly from the calendar invite.
If you use Zoom, connect it under Settings → Integrations and Mora will generate a Zoom link instead.
If you haven’t connected a calendar, meetings still exist in Mora — they just won’t appear on your external calendar.
Setting duration and recurrence
You can schedule a one-off meeting or set it up as a recurring series. Recurring meetings are linked together so past context carries forward automatically. See Meeting series for details.
Common durations are 30 minutes and 60 minutes, but you can set any duration that fits your style.
Editing or rescheduling
To change the time or date of a scheduled meeting, open the meeting and use the edit option. If Google Calendar is connected, the calendar event updates automatically.
Before the meeting
Mora will generate an AI-suggested agenda before your meeting based on your notes, open action items, and relationship history. The agenda is ready by the time you open Meeting Mode — typically within a few seconds of the meeting being created.
See AI agenda to understand what drives the agenda and how to get the most from it.
