Meeting series

Most 1:1s aren’t one-offs — they’re recurring conversations that happen every week, every two weeks, or every month. Mora’s meeting series feature links these recurring meetings together so context, action items, and relationship history flow naturally from one meeting to the next.

Creating a recurring series

When scheduling a new meeting, choose a recurrence setting:

  • Weekly — a new meeting is created every week on the same day and time
  • Biweekly — every two weeks
  • Monthly — once a month on the same date

Mora generates individual meeting records for each occurrence. Each one has its own notes and AI agenda, but they’re all connected as part of the same series.

Converting a one-off meeting to a series

If you scheduled a one-off meeting and want to make it recurring, you can convert it without starting over. From the meeting detail page, choose Convert to series and select a frequency (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) and the number of occurrences to generate. Mora uses the existing meeting as the first occurrence and creates all future meetings from there, carrying over the duration and conference settings.

Editing series settings

To change a time, duration, or conference type across all future meetings in a series, use Edit series settings from any meeting in the series. Changes apply to that meeting and every future occurrence — past meetings are not affected. If you’ve connected Zoom, switching the conference type to Zoom will automatically provision links for any future meetings that don’t already have one.

How series context works

When generating an agenda, Mora looks at the last five completed meetings with that direct report — not just the most recent one. If something was raised a few meetings ago and never resolved, there’s a good chance it appears in the agenda again.

Goals and topics for a direct report are visible in every meeting’s Meeting Mode — so anything that’s been on your radar stays in view across the series without any extra work.

Calendar sync for series

If you’ve connected Google Calendar, Mora creates individual calendar events for each meeting in the series. If you switch the conference type to Google Meet via Edit series settings, Mora will provision Meet links for any future occurrences that don’t already have one.

Ending a series

When a team member’s role changes or they leave your team, you can end their meeting series as part of the offboarding process. Past meetings in the series remain in Mora with their full history intact.

One-off meetings vs. series

You don’t need to use series for every meeting. One-off meetings are useful for:

  • A check-in that falls outside your normal cadence
  • A focused conversation on a specific topic (e.g., a project review)
  • A first 1:1 with someone new before setting up a recurring series

Both types of meetings work the same way in Mora — the series connection just adds continuity across recurring conversations.
