Meeting prep questionnaire
Before each 1:1, Mora emails your direct report a short questionnaire so they can share what’s on their mind ahead of time. Their answers are waiting for you when you sit down to plan or run the meeting.
How the questionnaire is sent
Mora sends the questionnaire automatically 24 hours before each scheduled 1:1. No action needed on your part — it goes out as soon as the meeting is created and the send time arrives.
You can also send it manually at any time from the meeting detail page before the auto-send fires. Look for the Send questionnaire button in the meeting’s prep section.
What direct reports see
The questionnaire opens in a browser — no Mora account or login required. It shows four questions:
- What are you most excited about in your role right now?
- What challenges or blockers are you currently facing?
- What would make this 1:1 most valuable for you?
- Is there anything else you’d like to discuss?
Questions 1 and 3 are required. Questions 2 and 4 are optional. Once submitted, a confirmation page appears and the form can’t be resubmitted.
Where you see the responses
Once a direct report submits, their answers appear in several places:
- Meeting detail page — responses show in the prep section before and after the meeting
- Meeting planner — submitted responses count toward the meeting’s readiness and appear as a nudge in the planner
- Feedback tab — responses are archived on the direct report’s profile alongside all past submissions
- Feedback hub — the cross-team feedback view aggregates responses from all your direct reports
If you have Slack connected, Mora sends you a notification as soon as the questionnaire is submitted.
How responses feed into Mora
When a direct report submits, Mora runs a feedback analysis job in the background. Over time, patterns in their responses — recurring themes, sentiment shifts, things they keep raising — surface in the Feedback signals view and feed into the relationship profile.
