Connecting Zoom

If your team uses Zoom for video calls, you can connect your Zoom account to Mora. Once connected, Mora generates a Zoom meeting link whenever you schedule a 1:1 — no need to create a Zoom meeting separately and paste the link into your calendar.

How to connect

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Find the Zoom section and click Connect Zoom
  3. You’ll be redirected to Zoom to authorize the connection
  4. Sign in with the Zoom account that has your meeting license
  5. Grant the requested permissions and you’ll be returned to Mora

Once connected, the Zoom section in Settings shows your connected account email and a “Connected” status.

When you schedule a new 1:1 with Zoom connected, Mora calls the Zoom API to create a meeting and attaches the join URL to the Mora meeting record. If Google Calendar is also connected, the Zoom link appears inside the calendar event body automatically.

Your direct report receives the Zoom link when they accept the calendar invite — no additional sharing step needed.

Zoom vs. Google Meet

You can use Google Meet and Zoom independently or together, but Mora generates one video link per meeting:

  • If only Google Calendar is connected, meetings include a Google Meet link
  • If Zoom is connected, meetings use a Zoom link instead
  • If both are connected, Zoom takes priority

Choose whichever your team uses consistently so your direct reports always get the right link.

Disconnecting Zoom

To disconnect your Zoom account, go to Settings → Integrations and click Disconnect next to Zoom. Future meetings won’t include a Zoom link, but existing meeting links are not affected.

Troubleshooting

I’m getting an error when trying to connect. Make sure you’re signing in with a Zoom account that has a Pro, Business, or higher plan. Free Zoom accounts have limited API access that may prevent the integration from working.

The Zoom link isn’t appearing in my calendar invite. Check that Google Calendar is connected in addition to Zoom. The Zoom link is embedded in the calendar event body, which requires the calendar connection to be active.
