Meeting Mode

Meeting Mode is a distraction-free, full-screen view designed to keep you focused during a 1:1. It brings together your AI agenda, notes editor, goals and topics, and coaching nudges in one place — so you’re never juggling tabs or searching for context mid-conversation.

Opening Meeting Mode

From any scheduled meeting, click the Start meeting button or open the meeting and select Enter Meeting Mode. The view switches to full-screen automatically.

What’s in Meeting Mode

AI Agenda

The left panel shows your AI-generated agenda for this meeting. Each agenda item includes:

  • Topic title — a concise label for the discussion area
  • Context — why this topic is surfaced (e.g., linked to an open goal, a recurring theme, or prep response)
  • Suggested question — a conversation starter Mora recommends based on the relationship history

Agenda topics load in seconds. While the AI is generating, you’ll see a skeleton placeholder — the agenda snaps in as soon as it’s ready. You don’t need to wait; you can start taking notes immediately.

Notes editor

The center of Meeting Mode is a rich text editor powered by Tiptap. Notes auto-save every 5 seconds, so there’s no save button to worry about.

Type / to open the slash command menu for formatting and two special block types:

  • Goal block — create a new goal inline while taking notes. Add a title, steps, and optionally type @ to set a target date via a floating calendar.
  • Topic block — capture a new topic inline. Add a title and optional description.

Both block types start as drafts. When you end the meeting, all draft blocks are committed to the database as real goals and topics — attributed to this meeting for provenance.

Goals & Topics

The right panel shows active goals and topics for this direct report. Goal steps can be toggled complete during the meeting — click the checkbox or the step text. This keeps engagement data flowing without leaving the notes view.

Coaching nudge

At the bottom of the agenda panel, Mora surfaces a coaching nudge — a short, personalized suggestion based on patterns in your relationship with this direct report. It might highlight a topic you’ve been avoiding, or prompt you to ask about something that hasn’t come up in a while.

Ending the meeting

When the conversation is done, click End meeting. A confirmation dialog appears. Mora commits any draft goal and topic blocks from your notes, transitions the meeting to “completed” status, and runs background jobs to generate a summary and update the relationship profile. You’re redirected to a wrap-up screen where you confirm which goals were discussed.
